quamper wrote in this morning to tell us about the newest verion of the web-based database admin tool for MySQL, phpMyAdmin. Their latest version has several bug fixes (and I'm sure some all new ones too! heh) and, so far, has been pretty stable. If you're using an older version, be sure to upgrade.
I also thought this was interesting - everyone knows who Rasmus is (well, almost everyone). He's one of the few PHP figures that is known mainly by his first name only. Well, PHPEverywhere has a link to a nice little interview with him and some good questions with some very good answers. They cover the uses of PHP a bit, but mainly they cover Rasmus and some of the history about him. Be sure to check it out, it's a neat read.
And, of course, what week would be complete without a Zend Weekly Summary from the fine folks at Zend. Looks like they've got a few bugs worked out - also, they were going to replace rand() with the mt_rand functions, but decided against it. It would break too many things.
