Project:
JSLog - a Lightweight Ajax logger
Andre wrote in to tell us about an Ajax logging project that he's working on called JSLog over on EarthCode.com.

This is a lightweight, self-contained logging panel which takes the place of alert() boxes for your AJAX and DHTML applications. It is unobtrusive, easy to use, and can stay in your code through deployment.

Ajax development is easier when you have a logging system like this: convenient, asynchronous, can be turned on or off globally, easy to use, stays in your code, lightweight, and framework agnostic.

That last bit is especially cool - it works with any of the major Ajax frameworks including Prototype, Mochikit, Rico, and Dojo. They have an example of what it looks like and the sample code on how to use it as well...
