| In this post from Ajaxian.com, they point out a tool from Tom Light that creates a "search" for every word on the page you're viewing using a bit of Ajax.
Tom Light's produced an interesting use of Ajax which is bound to be a little controversial from a usability perspective. Each word on the site (on motorbikes) is a hyperlink to a search on that word.
The text is all black, only underlined when hovering, so the hyperlinks aren't actually distracting.
Now all we need is a keyword-driven ad among those results.
It's an interesting concept, but, like anything, if overused, could get particularly annoying... |
