GMails AJAX Spell Check Evolves Further
On Marshal Kirkpatrick's blog today, he talks about the latest revision that seems to have happened to what he calls "one of the best things online" - the GMail spell checker.

Is it just me, or is the GMail spell checker not only one of the best things online but also built with AJAX? And it appears to have just been updated to become way more functional. Like in the last 10 minutes it was updated!

He doesn't really say how it's evolved, but it is a nice, clean feature of composing messages. No messy popups or things flashing - just a simple yellow highlight on the items it thinks are wrong. Even cooler, you can specify a language for it to work with, so just about anyone can use it with ease...

Yah, those changes are a little hard for me to describe and most of them appear to have dissapeared within an hour of going up. The language selection is new, isn't it? It's there to stay, but the ability to continue typing in the body of the email even when in spell check mode appears to be gone. That's a shame.

Best wishes to everyone here-
